Youview project

What has been a dilemma for the people worldwide has now been reformed. People have always been wondering – against or for the technological advance of media and social networking. However, they now have the answer and recent research by BBC shows that people are more than happy to engage in activities online and they actually prefer to use the web when they cannot watch their favourite media shows, broadcasts or any other product put on the media, including news, sports and so on.

This is why people have engaged into the so called Youview project who was proposed by enthusiasts from the UK and is now to become reality only in the beginning of the next year. This is a hybrid of media and more media – the so called ultimate catch-up television online channel and would even allow viewers to watch the high quality shows they miss the most.

The project would be an amazing cooperation initiative by ITV, BBC, Sky and the other major TV providers operating in the UK. They would jointly maintain a web channel which would be able to store and project almost 40,000 different shows and broadcasts every day. The effect would be an immense media spread to people because they would be able to catch up with the shows that they have missed and to stay informed. Iphone and Ipad applications would allow consumers to follow the channel on every smartphone which supports media projection. Even the people at the exhausting positions in the physiotherapy jobs would be able to catch up while on the tube after downloading the media file or while on the bus and directly streaming their favourite TV broadcasts.

Thus the Youview project would be the ultimate development and the highest level of cooperation the TV providers have ever achieved.
